Description:
From the plant known as Desert Indianwheat or Blond Psyllium, husks are also known as Ispaghula and Isabgol. Psyllium seed husks become soluble in water, attracting and holding water to expand and becoming mucilaginous when wet. The indigestible husks are used as a source of soluble dietary fiber.
Notes and Instructions:
Psyllium should always be taken with fluid. Drink at least 8 ounces of fluid for every 3-5 grams of husk.
