#1094 Veggie Spiral Slicer
Create wide ribbons, round chip shapes and long, narrow spaghetti-like strands, known as shoestring or julienne cuts, similar to matchsticks. Perfect for quick healthy meals and eating healthy on a budget, from stir fry to casseroles, salads, soups, stews, low carb, paleo, gluten free, raw and vegetarian recipes, and healthy snacks. Quickly prepare shoestring potatoes or French fried onions, zucchini pasta and other vegetable noodles, apple and vegetable chips, carrot curls, daikon radish Clouds, cucumbers, turnips, beets, cabbage, and more.
To use, set spiral vegetable slicer onto any smooth, nonporous surface and press down firmly to secure it in place. Insert desired cutting blade, with cutting edge facing the pronged wheel, and push down firmly. Prepare fruits and vegetables and trim both ends so they are flat. Place against the steel spindle and slide pronged wheel against the vegetable. Use the pusher to apply firm pressure and turn the crank handle to slice. When done, pull up on the release tabs to remove the slicer from the work surface. Hand wash all parts in warm, soapy water.
