Description:
Our Oregon-grown peppermint brews a sharp, refreshing, caffeine-free herbal tea with peppermint's signature aroma. Peppermint is most commonly known as a flavor in toothpastes, confections, gum, etc. The sharp and refreshing character of peppermint has given it a reputation as a mental refresher and it also has been used to ease stomach ailments, nausea, and headaches. More scientific evidence is needed to rate the effectiveness of peppermint for these uses.
Note:
For those trying to decide between peppermint and spearmint, peppermint is slightly more mentholated than spearmint (which is also known solely as mint tea).
Brewing Instructions:
Use 1 teaspoon of tea leaves per 8 oz of water. Steep in just boiled water that is around 200°F-212°F, for 3-5 minutes or longer, depending on taste.
