Description:
Tellicherry black pepper is a larger peppercorn from the Malabar Coast in the southwest portion of India, the same region as Malabar pepper. Tellicherry peppercorns are the largest and highest quality peppercorns, and are picked when close to the pepper berry being ripe. This leads to a large, highly complex, and aromatic peppercorn which is excellent for use in pepper mills. It is preferred by the majority of chefs over Lampong.
