Lavender #1

Lavender #1 is culinary grade and can be used in desserts, honey, sauces, seasoning blends for savory foods (as in Herbs de Provence), dressings, beverages, and teas, either by itself or with other herbs. Check out our Go To Steep tea, mix with chamomile for a relaxing tea or mix with sage to help with cold symptoms.

Lavender #2

You can use Lavender #2 to fill a sachet with dry lavender buds and squeeze it to release the lavender fragrance; in time, when the fragrance is not as potent, you can add some lavender essential oil to “refresh” the scent. You can mix it with other fragrant herbs to make potpourri, or with rice and buckwheat hulls to make an eye pillow.

The lavender essential oil can be diffused in a diffuser, you can make a room spray or face/body spray with distilled water and lavender essential oil (these are the most basic ingredients – there are many recipes out there) or make a roll on perfume/body oil with hempseed oil or castor oil, then add any other essential oils (never use full strength essential oils on skin as it may cause irritation, always dilute in a carrier oil).
