also known as linseed. This product is brown flax seed, which has a slight nutty
flavor. Flax seeds are regarded as having high lignan and Omega-3 fatty acids.
They are also sometimes used in vegan baking as a replacement for eggs, with 3
tablespoons of water and 1 tablespoon of ground flax seeds replacing one egg.
